Downtown & Burj Khalifa

The signature show: pyrotechnics up the full height of the tower, synchronised lasers, the Fountain, and LED screens through the district. Emaar opens free public viewing zones across Downtown — Burj Park, Emaar Square, the Old Town side — with family and designated zones. It is magnificent and it is a commitment: roads close in rings from late afternoon and the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station shuts around 5pm. Go early, eat there, and treat the metro walk home as part of the night — or book a Downtown terrace table and skip the standing entirely.

JBR Beach & Bluewaters (Ain Dubai)

Fireworks over the water beside the world's largest observation wheel, with a kilometre of beach as the grandstand. Softer crowds than Downtown, restaurants and facilities along The Walk behind you, and an easy exit by tram. If you're bringing children, this is the answer.

Burj Al Arab from the Jumeirah beaches

Kite Beach and Sunset Beach face the sail head-on across open water — the most photographed silhouette in the city with fireworks blooming behind it. No barriers, no tickets: bring a blanket, arrive before the parking disappears, and you have the calmest front-row seat on the coast.

Atlantis & the Palm

Atlantis anchors the Palm's midnight with shows across the crescent. Palm West Beach is the local secret: a boardwalk of restaurants facing the water, so a dinner reservation doubles as your viewing spot. The monorail beats the causeway traffic in both directions.

Dubai Creek Harbour & Festival City

The Creek side gives you water, skyline and fireworks in one frame at a fraction of Downtown's density. Festival City's IMAGINE lagoon show has become a midnight fixture, and the mall's dining terraces face it directly.

The pragmatic family play: fireworks typically run at an earlier slot as well as midnight, there's food from thirty countries, and nobody is pressed against a barrier. The one major show you can drive to comfortably.

Expo City runs a full celebration with its own show; the Frame lights up Zabeel; Hatta counts down in the mountains. The confirmed city-wide list runs past forty locations each year — we publish the complete table with timings the day the official programme drops.
